2021 Aletheia
“Aletheia” is a philosophical term, and translated from Ancient Greek it roughly means “truth” or “disclosure.” To us, this term was perfect to summarize a wine that will be our first to be made with Organic grapes and that highlights our already “minimalist” approach to winemaking. Our partners at Desert Willow are growing their first vintages of organic grapes, as well as transitioning the whole of their vineyard to organic. This vintage is 50% sourced from this transitional vineyard, while future vintages of Aletheia will be 100% Organic sourced. We are thrilled to be collaborating with Desert Willow in this organic transition, and are committed to seeing this through and encouraging other vineyards to do the same.
